Carbon sequestration

We are aiming to accelerate carbon sequestration in agricultural soils by reducing up to 90% of nitrogen and phosphorus from the solid part of manure. Doing so, it is possible to accelerate carbon sequestration while respecting the principles of good agri-environmental practices.

This solution generates additional income for breeders and grain producers on about 700 hectares and 20,000 tonnes of manure at 28% humidity.

Incentive payments related to carbon sequestration may apply and represent about $2,300 per hectare paid in 5 years and calculated over 10 years.
